This Hamsa necklace, also known as the hand Of Fatima, is hand made in Nepal.
It is an ancient Middle Eastern symbol used for protection and warding off evil eye.
The word 'Hamsa' means five in Arabic, for the five fingers of the hand.
It is believed to protect the owner against other people's jealousy. It wards off their jealous energy and any bad luck they might be secretly (or unconsciously) wishing you.
The pendant is gorgeous! It is very colorful with traditional, blue, red, yellow and turquoise, vivid colors.
