Toolwatch decided to team up with a talented graphic designer to create unique illustrations displaying watchmaking icons. In order to pay tribute to these iconic timepieces, we opted for a bright and elegant pop art look!

 

The result is outstanding: a cool print that will appeal to every watch geek for sure. The right item for all the clock maniacs for whom having their ticking partners on the wrist is simply not enough.

 

For this new poster we have decided to pay tribute to one of the most elegant watches ever designed: the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso. The famous "Art Deco" timepiece from 1931 quickly became an acclaimed design icon with its unusual rectangular shape, these three gadroons and this ingenious spinning case device.

 

And of course the best thing is the legendary story that everybody knows behind the watch: back in colonial times, British polo players wanted to find a way to wear a timepiece during games with its face that could be protected from possible mallet strokes.

 

An elegant dress watch that could be turned into a sport watch. To be honest, here at Toolwatch we all love the snobbery touch around the whole concept! So why not displaying the famous "Art Deco" icon on your walls? This framed poster, printed on thick and durable matte pape is clearly the right piece for every wrist aesthete.
